With a bit of research and considering all facts, I too think that justice was not served to Mr. Dev, even though it is beyond any doubt that this man is pretty sick to have sex with with own daughter. For some people in our society, eg. GrgDai as admitted by himself, the fact that she was adopted at age 15 and there was no biological relationship, makes it okay to have sex with her. It is just as sick as if she was his biological daughter in my book. In other words, for all practical matter, adopted = biological. Any reasonable person would not disagree with that. 

I also fully believe that Mr. Rapist here is guilty of statutory rape (I have no doubt the sicko here had sex with her before she even turned 16, not sure what California age of consent is...). Mr. Rapist may even be guilty of defrauding the adoption process as his sole motive for adoption might have been to bring her to the US to keep her as a sex toy.

In the light of the facts that I learnt since yesterday, Mr. Rapist most likely did not use child porn to corrupt the accuser as alleged. Mr. Rapist most definitly did not forcibly rape this girl 3 times a week as claimed by the prosecution. Since he was found guilty of doing just that, it does not sound like a fair trial to me. In the contrary to my original perception, the accuser seems like a person of extremely degraded values, a pathological lier and one of the most selfish persons I have ever had the opportunity of reading about. As I said before, that still does not suddenly turn Mr. Rapist here into a Saint and like many of you, I would reserve my judgement until I hear/read the transcripts of that "incriminating" phone conversation.
