Trance music is wicked

To me, trance transcends the emotional melancholy apparatus like no other music - the effects of it surpasses even the most tragical plights.

This particular piece reminds me of such emotions - Depeche Mode first sang it in 1984 ... I must have first heard of it 5 years later (holy shit that was 21 yrs ago)...still in my teens and I remember sobbing over it. The lyrics are just out of this world....ignore the religious connotations...make it out to be whatever you want it to be.

Here is a tiny excerpt: "...I don't want to start any blasphemous rumors, but I think that God's got a sick sense of humor, and when I die I expect to find him laughing...".

We all have been through adolescents and growing up is so difficult - even more so if you grew up in a multicultural society where you had to own up to the peer pressure of your liberal and open minded friends but had to eventually face the cultural values of your parents. Balance was the key - and some made it and sadly, some didn't. If you grew up outside of Nepal you will know exactly what I am talking about.

Here it is: Blasphemous Rumours by Depeche Mode (the second one has the lyrics..)
