I must add that I am a big admirer of a lot of American things. In universities, I admired their system. I also admire the 'ragging free' culture. I admired the sincere efforts of the professors to educated everyone. I admire the way they try to share the knowledge. I admire their highways etc.

But I am not a fan of their penal system. I think a lot of Nepali find it too late. In any case, I find it more worrisome because Americans frown upon lenient punishments. And as more criminals are being locked up, the rule of marginalism means the less violent and less criminal people are inside.
