Yes, sodhne.com looks like a good website. I really like how the developer used AJAX for flicker free browsing. Notice how you can drag the radius and the data is send and received in the background. Excellent!
I am not sure how you define Hi-Tech in regards to website, does the OP mean latest technology? I assume the developer is using the following Technology.
a) Server Side Scripting Language: I can't pin point what exactly but I think it may be Pearl, Python or Ruby.
b) JavaScript: Form Validation and others.
c) AJAX
d) Database: Perhaps MYSQL.
Side Note: One thing I didn't like about the website in regards to development is how the developer used this question "What is 2 plus 1?" instead of using a Captcha.
