To improve your skills you need to learn about element of designs, repetition, rhythm,line, contrast,volume,space,shape negative space,positive space and stuffs A good photographer should be able to take good pictures  having aesthetic and technical views togther. one shouldnt say i will this picture i this shutter speed and apperture but the mind shld able to say i want this picture to be so and so...
