Getting a rav4 base trim. The seat cloth in the base trim looks really low quality so I am thinking of getting leather. Dealer have a option to upgrade to third party leather seating for 1200+250 each seat to add in heated feature. So for leather seats and driver+front passenger seat heated will cost me 1700 dollers. The third party leather is lot nicer compared to the toyota one which comes with limited edition.

I need some opinions if it is worth it to get leather seats for 1200 (plus 500 for heated for 2 front seats). I am also worried how bad leather will be in summer/winter and possibility of cracks. Also the price being a little high.
