There is no way that your freind can take 1 class in other colleges and those colleges will let him graduate. In my opinion, the only way to get out from this is to talk to the professor. May be, the professor/college will let him take that specific course as an independent studies. Most of the time, the professor must have to agree that he/she is willing to teach that course as an independent studies. Tell the professor, that he/she does not have to teach, your freind will study in his own and will give the exam.
