Girija's 86 years of life almost seems as long as history but his death, this week, falls under "current affairs" category. Since it is a recent occurrence, people who knew him will naturally reflect upon his deeds/misdeeds/memories unless in this day and age of live TV or live streaming, events of last day or last week get instantly far-flung into the annals of history .
Please let the thread die a normal death at least, that is, let it get buried under the other threads once people have lost interest and won't add any more comment on a given thread. Thank you.
