This is from my personal experience:
1. Use Pronto bed bug killer available in amazon.com . It kills on contact and the reviews are very good. But be sure to buy at least 4-5 bottles to spray everywhere. This stuff works.
2. buy mattress protector which encloses your whole mattress as well as box spring inside a plastic-like vinyl cover (available in walmart under bedding section for $12-13), when bedbugs can't get outside this cover at night, they can't bite and so can't reproduce. This is a very important step.
3. If nothing else works, call rosco professional: http://www.bellbedbugs.com
