Several years ago, couple of soldiers raped a young woman who was collecting fire wood near a army barrack located by the Koshi river in Saptari district. I think she was a madhesi girl. Media did not report this incident as the location of this place was in the middle of no where.  But what happened after this incident made big headlines.  A few days after the rape, two soldiers were found dead due to stab wounds in their necks.  Obviously, few young men from the village took the matter in their own hands and decided to carry out the verdict!  No idea which two soldiers were involved in the rape, but two soldiers from the barrack lost their lives!
