Take a defensive driving course.
When you send a check, just write one dollar more than the ticketed. They will send you a check for dollar or will send back your written check. Never cash the one dollar check, see what happens? Long time ago someone mentioned that if you do not cash the check the insurance will not be affected? Not sure, but we can check.
