Embassy
does not issue birth certificate. However, in case of hardship,
applicants may apply for a certification letter with the following
supporting documents as a proof of their date of birth:

does not issue birth certificate. However, in case of hardship,
applicants may apply for a certification letter with the following
supporting documents as a proof of their date of birth:
- An application with parents' name, applicant's place of birth and date of birth;
- A Money Order or Cashier's Check of $ 25.00 drawn in the name of the Embassy of Nepal;
- Original Citizenship Certificate;
- Copies of Passport (page 1, 2 and 3);
- A copy of US visa;
- If the applicant is unable to submit a copy of Citizenship
Certificate, submit a copy of any academic certificate issued by school
or college with date of birth mentioned therein; and - Postage paid self-addressed return envelope.
