Like I said in my earlier post, you have to educate people about flagging. What are you going to do when people start clicking I agree and posting useless comments? Put another button that says "I really agree"? or ban the user? Which brings me back to the dictatorship and democracy. Dictatorship: you make your judgment and block the user. Democracy: enough people flag a users post and they get blocked. If a process such as flagging cannot work, what makes you think a mere button will? Honestly I think the reason the flagging does not work is because the threshold for being deleted is too high. What if, if a thread has been viewed 100 times, 5 flags deletes a comment, if 200 views than 10 flags and so on. There are a lot of smart users here in sajha. If you create a focus group or ask people for some input, I am sure we can come up with a solution that is not dictatorial and anarchist.
