Native Indian people of Canada have been hunting seal and trading seal products for thousands of years.
These seals are not in Endangered or Threatened list like Polar bears are. PETA is not an environment or habitat conservation activist organization like Green Peace or WWF.
PETA is simply an organization that gets upset over things like when Barack Obama swats housefly that gets too close into his face.
