Nepal banda 11 Jee. USMLE (The United States Medical Licensing Examination) is a three phase standardized tests for receiving a license to practice medicine in the USA.
go here for more info:

let's go short cut here,
since doctors are mushrooming in Nepal, most of them are targeting USA to practice medicine and for that, they have to give USMLE first to cross the iron gate. Since it's not just Nepalese doctors but doctors all around the world who are attracted to practice medicine in USA because of high pay and better lifestyle, USMLE has become very competitive over the course of time.

Now, you have to google how hard is the test and how much does it take to successfully complete the test with good score. but one thing i know it's phucking hard (not that i am discouraging). you are not just completing with doctors from Nepal but from around the world.

now lets say, if you get good score on USMLE,  the next thing you'll be doing is  applying to various hospitals for residency. Residency is the training a phsycian selects to learn how to treat a specific category of patient.
more info on residency http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Residency_%28medicine%29.
for any hospital to accept you for the residency, hospitals will evaluate your track records plus you have to go through series of personal interviews.
now if you get accepted, you'll do residency (practice medicine) in a hospital for two around two years or ore depending on the field you choose. you'll be paid around $40K per year for that period of time. after successful completion of your residency, you'll be officialyl graduated and you can practice medicine wherever you want and earn hard cash.

now the reality is that many Nepalese's doctors (graduating from neighboring state or from Nepal) jump into it without evaluating the real deal. following into this path of giving USMLE to residency to US certified doctor is a long way and need time and dedication and some real hard $$ for exam fee. it's not easy. but that time and dedication will certainly pay you off later if you use it wisely.

While i have seen some successful stories, I have seen/heard many of people abandoning this path.
so you or anybody wanna jump into this path, make sure you evaluate everything.
