लोकराज बरालका बिचार प्रति तपाइको बिचारको निम्ति धन्यबाद । तपाइले ईंगित गर्नुभएको संम्भावना शायद हुन पनि सक्छ । तर दूरनियन्त्रकले संघियतालाइ समग्र नेपालको बिकास गर्ने वा हाल नेपालमा विद्यमान समस्या समाधान गर्ने उद्देश्यले समर्थन गरेको छैन होला । एक मधेश एक प्रदेश उनीहरुको स्वार्थ पुरा गर्ने बलियो हतियार हुन सक्ने हुनाले समर्थन गरेको होला, शायद उनेरुकै निर्दैशनमा अगाडि आएको नारा पनि होला । तर तराइ क्षेत्र ३ - ५ वटा संघमा समेटिए उनीहरुको दाल गल्दैन भन्ठानेको थिए । हाल प्रस्तावित सिमांकनमा समग्र तराइलाइ २ प्रदेश भित्रै समेट्ने खाका आउनुमा उनेरुको कसरत (जस्तो हालसालैको उच्चस्तरीय भ्रमण, उच्चस्तरीय संयन्त्र आदि इत्यादि) सफल पो भएछ भन्ठानेको छु । अन्य संघिय खाकाहरु लिम्बुवान देखि खसान सम्मको सिमांकन पनि लाद्ने र विवाद बढाउने मनसायबाट आएको देखिन्छ । संघियताको बारेमा एथेष्ट गृहकार्य नगरी भकाभक सिमानाहरु कोरीनु चाहि शुभ संकेत पक्कै हैन ।

Yes, they are contradicting if you put them that way, but those lines are picked from different parts of my comments. The message gets skewed if you handpick portions from here n there. By telling educated people "intellectual whore", I do not mean that whatever they tell is worthless. Frequent flipping position, irresponsible and corrupt attitude of educated people is disgusting, however, their understanding and evaluation may make sense.

Do not rely much on wiki or internet, you can pull out any BS you want from there. If you see only the head-count, Fiji should be an Indian state. If statistics is collected from a fresh census in Nepal, Terai population (or say hindi-favoring population) is sure to surpass Bahun+Chhetri population right now. The last census tells Bahun (12%) + Chhetri (16%), (total 29%) are minority in Nepal as opposed to 71% rest non-Bahun non-Chhetri. Total Newah population within claimed Nepalmandal boundary is 38-42% (may fluctuate slightly depending on boundary). If you check 3 generation of people who settled within Nepalmandal, 85%+ are Newah population. Now, rethink majority-minority card.  

In the next census, Bahun+Chhetri will be dropped to low 20% unless you guys start massive reproduction. All indigineous population below 1% in the current statistics will only exist in documents and rest will be near to extinction. Why? Those 3 million new citizenship in the Terai before CA election has already added at least 5 million population in the past census data. These new Nepalese have much higher reproduction rate than any hill-community. Nobody knows whats going on in Terai demography these days. I am sure about the exploding population due to high reproduction and the continuous new immigration through open boarder that is yet to be recorded. The population density at the other side of boarder is 6 times more than in Nepal, so the influx of immigrating population through the open boarder should not surprise anyone. At present, Terai has about 57% of total population in the last election and 49% of the CA seats. Terai leader have championed the bargain based on population by successfully demanding the CA seats proportional to population density. The worst may come through so-called democracy, with the one election that would flood out khas speaking people and the end of Nepal. If the country is fragmented into states with assuring the right of indigenous population, no immigrant can hijack the country playing the majority-minority card.

Dec 26 show does not have representation from other community. Dec 16 show has participation of non-newah though.

You do not need to try. Time will show whose claim/opinion is correct or incorrect.

We have seen the failure of de-centralization in last two decades. What more to see? De-centralization without re-structuring (i.e status quo with some sugarcoat) will promote corruption only. De-centralization with re-structuring (i.e. federalism) is an option that will do better, however, it depends on how the re-structure goes ahead. I do not think the recently suggested structure and boundaries of 14 states will do any better.  

If there is anything better than federal restructuring, then that is "Close the boarder with India", "investigate the authentic claim of new citizenship", "punish hard to corrupt leaders", "retire all leaders above 60 years". That will bring fresh energy.

नेवारहरु बिरुद्ध जमेरै लेख्नु भो, जातीय राज्य चाहने ३ प्रमुख समुह मध्य पहिलो समुह भनेरै किट्नु भो, यसबाटै तपाइको पुर्वाग्रह कुन हदसम्म छ बुझ्न मलाइ रत्तिभर समय लागेन । जसरी नेवार राज्यको नेतृत्त्व गर्न चाहने झक्कु सुवेदी, संघियताको कट्टर विरोधि चित्रबहादुर केसि तथा नेवा राज्यको एकतर्फी घोषणा गर्ने पुष्प दहाल - सबै एकै समुदायको भएर पनि फरक विचार राख्छन त्यसरी नै नेवारहरु भित्र पनि बहुल बिचार अवश्य छ । तर तपाइले तिनीहरु सबैलाइ एकै घानमा राखेर पिस्न खोज्नु भो - नियत बुझियो ।
