Different ethnic groups asking for different rajya is a ploy by politicians to keep people divided so they can freely loot the country while everyone is fighting with each other.

Newars should not fall in the trap but if it becomes clear that every other ethnicity is getting a different sworajya then Newars should also claim it because you don't want to be the only group that is left out.

As an aware human being you want to be fair and hope for the best for everyone but if everyone else is playing crappy games to win no matter what at anyone's expense then you have no option but to play the same way, because you don't want to be the victim.
