in response to the OP,
Love does exist, however its definition is different from person to person.

to some love is a smile, to others a laugh.
to some love is to dive into someones eyes, to others is one fleeting glance
to some love is a flower, to others its a garden
to some love is an eternal bond, to others a one night stand
to some love is a sip of wine, to others its whoever you end up with after one too many drinks
to some love is priceless, to others it is sold in the street
to some love is patience, to other it is betrayal
to some love is pain, to others its forgiveness
to some love is a sharp knife on ones wrist, to others its a tattoo of a special name

i could go on and list all i have experienced, heard and learned from others about love. but i think i should jump to what i really think it is:

its not eternal, nothing in life (not even life itself) lasts forever. like childhood, youth and age, love too will come and go. enjoy it while you feel it and dont look back if you dont, rest assured that it will come back to you in some other form.
