History says Bahuns, Chetri came from India to escape Mughal rule in India. Even Thakuris and Royal ancestors came from India trying to run away from Mughals.  Now even Newars are from India?  So who is from Nepal then?  Oh yes, I got it!  It is Madhesis!  Madhesis were already in Madhesh! I know lots of Newars in Madhesh.. Shrestha, Pradhan, Joshi - you name it - they stopped speaking Newari, not because they came from India, but because there were no one in the neighborhood to talk in Newari to!  Generations later, they forgot Newari.
