I have huge respect for Rabindra Ji's Helpnepal initiative and I have few comments regarding this subject of intellectual plagiarism in the context here. From his post it seems like he did not appreciate his work not being given due credit by someone else tying to do the same thing.

In my opinion, in the field of social service, if more people copy you to help others the better off you are in achieving your goals. If you have to be rigid about your name or company name being quoted for every help that is provided to the needy then it begins to seem more like you are more instered in building up the ego that comes with your success.

There is no plagiarism in helping others. You help do the same thing as helpnepal, someone else do the same social work as bhaibahini. You do it as as a dollar a month, someone else does it as 5 dollars a month, but in the end they all serve one purpose - of helping the needy.

People may do their social service differently but as long as there is not cheating the donors involved, I think all kinds of social service work should be encouraged.

My two cents.
