My perception on Arranged Marriage is that someone (not necessarily your parents) try to hook you up with your significant-other-to-be.
Nothings wrong with that. If you cant find a girl or talk to one by yourself, you can still date the one chosen by someone else, be it friends or foes or parents or relatives.
Dont get stuck in differentiating the two. Just find a girl, however possible and see if she's the girl you're wanting to hold your first baby with! : )
