What I really found even more shocking than the original post was Samjhana Shrestha's response.

A branch manager of one of the biggest banks in Kathmandu making a downright claim by "rubbishing" an inquiry instead of showing some hints of taking a steps to get detailed information is absolutely comic and horrible.
That woman certainly needs to take 3-4 advanced Business Communications classes! A branch manager with such communication skills! Dear O Dear!
