Regarding the Nepali crowd, it all depends on you first. Friendship does not belongs to a community, if your interest and their interest matches you will enjoy it. If not you can not mingle with them no need to join them and no need to bash them too. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy it, and ignore others.
Yes, you went to school at home as well here too, you are better and well cultured, they are not, you work only 40 hours they do 70-80 hours a week so what ? I think you are jealous of them , may be the crowd you explaining are dv winner and are green card holders . Man let them enjoy their life and do not foolish yourself being cultured and educated.
