The mark of a advanced civilization is to be able to express opinions without fears, and most importantly, is to be able to take criticisms without resorting to anger or violence, which we, Nepali, have no concept about culturally. We get upset to hear anything bad about us, even if it is 100% true, we are simply raised like that, arrogant and ignorant. We only like when foreigners (mostly hippies or borderline rich leftist) who says "I love Nepal. It is so peaceful. People are so kind and giving. I love Buddhism, Mt. Everest" whether it is at  Thamel or overseas. What do we get from them? Never learning to accept facts, living in ignorance, seclusion and wrong pride.

It's about time for us make a different choice. Listen to criticism from an honest foreigner, which can lead to a better understanding of our weakness. I'd be mad if a Somali or an Ethiopian point our weakness but a European or American, I'm willing to listen to. Pointing fingers at them and quoting their historical mistakes to make ourselves feel better, does not take make us any wiser. Remember...your still a shitty Nepali to the rest of the world.

I agree with Kuhirey's statement (thanks for that) except for the fact about the size of the penis.

It is true to a point but still we are way better off than the Japanese and the Chinese. They have it much smaller, yet they are of a more advanced society. How? Japanese have less ego and less social issue than us, even by Western standard, but their weenier are pretty smaller than us. By that logic, African continent should be the most secured and confident, which is not true. Bigger size does not mean less ego.
