Kuhire, thank you for helping poor villagers in Nepal. Two years is definitely a long time. Sadly and quiet honestly i would say most people who come to sajha might not have stayed two years in Nepali villages, most of us in here are from the capital so pardon us if we can't provide exact reply to your query.As far as not wearing underwear goes may be it's cuz they don't feel comfortable, or they may not know about underwear or they would rather buy food than underwear, or maybe the people u came across didn't wear one, could be any reason. Seriously, you spent two years there, you closely monitored the problems,poverty and cultural difference in the villages and u still can't guess why wouldn't they wear underwear?
