LOL.  It is funny, how Power_Ranger applied his thinking!  And I could totally relate to that, but there is a flaw in his logic. 

Power_Ranger's analysis:
Hollywood production = Not lame
Homemade production = Lame

Not necessarily. 

And the person who wrote and produced "The Successor" in my opinion is not amateur, new, but not amateur in film production.
