According to my research I know its not a big deal to maintain your status while on OPT. You can just do a volunteer work at any place (can be any thing)  and obviously "arko paisa aune kam". You should be fine with it. Its so sweet of my international advisor to let me know that. 

My actual question has not been answered yet.  I home someone there has great answers and suggestions. 

I am open to go to any grad school EAST WEST NORTH or SOUTH. There  are tens of thousands gradschools to choose from. Anybody out there have any specific suggestions where I can get GA or TA or anything?

I would be really thankful for any of your suggestions.
