I think its a valid questions from a new nepali brother/ sister... people needs to be educated...Well if you dont pay the credit card money.. Its not the cops that will be after you but its the collection agency... The damage upon you would be: bad credit history.. meaning that once your credit history is messed up then its hard to buy cars in financing or get a nice apartment or sometimes later on it might affect you in getting jobs... coz some work do check your credit history...... its all upon you though.... Ive seen people mess up their credit history because they did not have any options... for example.. if you are student and are not being able to pay your tution.. then Ive seen students paying their tution with credit card.... which in one way is fine.... so, newton 123 its all upon you to choose... and beside that SSN once you get a no.. you will not be able to change it coz thats ur identity in US...
