I am thoroughly disgusted by some of the comments here by self -proclaimed modern Nepali. Let me tell you one thing, being modern, or intellect, or educated does not mean you need to give up your values, culture or religion. Most importantly, you do not have basic civic sense to respect someone's faith, trust and belief in GOD. You can be atheist, does that mean you have become superior being than those who follows religion? Nepalese abroad, unlike Indians, are least respected, less recognized, less united because they do not have any identity nor they have feel proud of their culture-rather they feel humiliation,  they do not carry their culture and identity along where they go-rather love to dump those to become pro western, look at where you stand today. Neither you are western-nor american nor you are Nepali, nor you have any identity. While the same Indians, which you love to hate-thanks to them, you are still surviving here-thank them for food to job?? Indians have earned respect, created their own indentity and are living way better than you. They have kept their religion, culture and identity intact and they have the reason to be proud of themseves-unlike you morons- big losers.

Religion is belief, if follows properly,  it teaches you to live discipline life-whether or not god exists does not matter- but back home YCL and here you moron, does not like to live discipline life.  Taquella shot, party life, getting laid, infidelity and unnecessary fighting in every forum has become  your attributes, you would feel proud of yourself -go ahead, but look at yourself -who you are or what you are? nothing...

And sexy in sari-  ideally in hindu/buddhist religion, you want to face North or East when you worship god that means god faces south or west accordingly.But lot depends on your room/house orientation.
