Miracle, Welcome to Pittsburgh!
First the bad news, there are not many Nepali students in U.Pitt / CMU, 2 in Pitt, 2 in CMU. So, you may not find a Nepali student room mate easily.
Now the good news, there are lots of apartments and they are not that expensive as other cities. Also you can easily find people seeking room-mates in Oakland / Shadyside / Squirrel Hill area via pittsburgh.craigslist.org.
If you don't mind living with Indian friends, you may try contacting Indian Graduate Student Organizations in Pitt (ANKUR) and in CMU (IGSA). Their mailing lists have ppl seeking room mates.
The Nepali community in Pittsburgh is small but closely knit. The best way to reach all of us is the Pitt-Nepali google group.
