I do not think every one will support your (sajvan) view of enjoying Monarchism in past. You are asking a fellow who did not have a chance to eat other than dido. Now you saying that , that  fellow enjoyed it , I do not think so, by no choice he accepted what ever was available in his plate and that was his living, if he had given choices he would have chosen something else, definetly  he would not chose dido or chyakhala.
