Koirala floats Sujata for NC leadership in govt

KATHMANDU, June 2 - Former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Tuesday proposed to send the party in the government under the leadership of his daughter Sujata Koirala. He floated such proposal during his discussion with the NC and the UML leaders including Prime Minister Madahv Kumar Nepal.
According to a NC source, the NC leaders have expressed dissatisfaction over the issue of giving party leadership in the government to Sujata with the Foreign Minstery portfolio.

At today's discussion, there has been an agreement of giving the Home Affairs and Finance portfolios to the UML and the Defence to the NC.
The two parties would discuss with other parties set to join the government in the making.
