Na RAHE BAANS, NA BAJE BAANSURI"

Friends,

We all know that the "
is a very meaningful Indian proverb. Many people are seeing this
proverb to be applicable to various change seeker groups in Nepal now:

Some
groups, in the name of getting away from the "communist rule", have
lost their reformist identity/character and have shouldered with the
regressive/feudal forces. Some other groups, in the name of giving
non-traditional communist flavor, have ended up in teaching the
traditional bourgeois lessons to people and their cadres and have
functionally shouldered with the regressive/feudal forces, at least in
principle(which inevitably ends in the practice too in due course of
time, if not now). The result is the same in either case: neither they
saved themselves as a characteristic group nor helped the needy people
to come up, but a sheer promotion of the regression. The former is relatively in a shorter term and, the later, in relatively a longer
term.

How far are these observations right? Please share your views.
