Bollywood plagiarize Hollywood:

Koi Mil Gaya a bollycat of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
Bollywood Television series "Karishma" plagarize from "A Woman of Substance" by best-selling novelist Barbara Taylor Bradford
Baazigar (which set off Shah Rukh Khan’s career) was a rehash of ‘A Kiss Before Dying’
Aitraaz was a copy of ‘Disclosure’
Ajnabee a copy of ‘Consenting Adults’.
The Train and Raqeeb which were ripped off from Hollywood's ‘Derailed’ and ‘Murder by Natural Causes’, respectively.
‘Tara Rum Pum’ resembled the Tom Cruise starer ‘Days Of Thunder’, there were scenes and situations in the second half that were shamelessly copied from Italian film ‘Life Is Beautiful’.
Partner , for instance, is almost scene-by-scene copy of Hollywood director Andy Tennant’s 2005 romantic comedy ‘Hitch’.
Phir Milenge, its the same story as Philadelphia
Awaara Pagal Deewana copies The matrix and The Whole Nine Yards
Mujhse Shaadi Karogi copies Anger Management

While the list of Hollywood copies in Bollywood may go on and on, the point to note is that there is a fine line between “being inspired” and copying.

Hence weather to call Indians clever or cheaters, this is one reason why people do not seems to like them.
