John Mayer: Daughters (2005 Grammys for the Song of the Year)

Song about a girl who puts the color in a guy's world (coz he
really loves her).  But she's hard to figure and she makes it hard for
him to love her.  He then realizes that it's not him but a traumatic experience: Her father that
hurt/betrayed her. A father is suppose to be the first male role model for any
daughter.  And she feels that if her own father could hurt her then any
other man surely would.  So basically, Mayer wants all fathers to be good to their
daughters so it won't make it hard on men like him to love them....
