My intention was to contradict. I didn't make the arguments that I did to be nice. I did it to just show that religious arguments cannot be easily be countered with logic and reasoning. Whether that be religious arguments in favor of 'equality,' the way Prachanda is doing or religious arguments in favor of 'Hinduism' that I was making. 

You can think of my writn as a 'vaccination.' I gave out a small painless sample of a much greater and dangerous disease. Few people seem to understand the dangers of 'equality' movement in Nepal.

Equality worked in the United States because there was only one 'thing' that liberals were trying to 'equal': black people. Equality was a comparison between the priviledge of the whites with the blacks. Equality also worked with gender because it was a comparison with men and female.
Equality might even work with straights and gays.

But equality will not work in Nepal with multiple ethnicities, because when those multiple ethnicities at the bottom of the wrung start to equal each other, it will turn Nepal into a civil war.

This is the irony of democracy in the modern era. Right now, even in America, the political environment is so polarized between liberals and conservatives. The fact is that if the United States were to drop its constitution and start from scratch, it would probably decend into a civil war far worse than what we saw in Iraq. Right now with the amount of media there is, the notion of 'equality' just produces a lot of envy and violence. If it is true for the United States, what of Nepal?
