No wonder our country is in this stage. There is no single person who is thoughtful and thorough. Each of us always take sides just because of our political affiliation or where our immediate family member stand in the Nepali political process.

Those who are affiliated with Nepali Congress or have association with it blatantly oppose any plans of other ruling party no matter what the decision is about. They always bring Indians to interfare in our political process to get in the government. This is the party whose behavior is solely responsible for the indian interference in the Nepali politics. Their agenda is always to bring that government down and place themselves in the ruling position. After getting in the government all they do is to suck our country and just benefit those who are in power. They never think what is good for our country. This is the main culprit of our country's destruction and failure.

I do not know what to say about this UML party. They do not have uniform stand on anything. It is always divided. UML has both maiost and Nepali Congress characters in itself. Each of the UML member speaks for his/her benefit or of a faction it is associated with.

On the other hand, Maiost who came to the power by taking lives of so many people, they have not overcome the mentality of violence yet. Even after leaving violence behind and heading the present government, Maiose and YCL members do not hesitate to do anything they want. What a misery for our country?

Having said all these, my question to this thread originator is that "really?" Do you really know what you are talking about? Is it not counter productive to have an Army General who does not follow the order of the Government (did I mention "elected government"?). What do you think would happen if Petraus does not follow the instruction or order of Obama now? Elected government mathi ko apaman chhahi utpadak hunchha, Mr. Pandy? BTW, why do you have to mention about SF and California? To exert influence on the readers that you live in America? SF? WOW? FYI - I also live in California.

An Army General does not necessarily have to agree with the government. If he/she does choose to disagree, he/she should step aside. An army general does not get to choose whether the instruction from the government is right or wrong. It is the people who determines whether the government is right or wrong. If it determines the government is wrong, it will through that governemnt out of power in the upcoming election. That is what I understood should happen in democracy. We interpret democracy in our own way to just benefit ourselves. That has been the misfurtune for our country.

I hate to see the indian interference in this episode. Bhai fute ganwar lute. India has been able to "divide and rule" Nepal as usual in this episode too.

We have already lost so many productive years by not agreeing with each other. We do not agree with anybody if it does not benefit us. What a politics? What a people? I hope Nepal does not go back to those violent days again. I hope Nepal regains its "Sundar Santa Bishal" theme again.
