Here is my story that how I become out of state. I know it’s a bit long but I can’t short it more than this. Hope that my Nepalese friends from SAJHA will help in such big problem for me.
15th august2006 was the day I arrive in united state of America. Business Administration was my major so in first semester I took 12 cr hours in University. The courses are: International English, Business Algebra, Micro economics 1 and US history. I failed in US History and my GPA was 2.5.
Similarly in second semester I took 12 credits hour in the same university. The courses are Accounting 1, Macro economics1, Business Statics and Introduction to computer. I failed in two subjects Accounting 1 and introduction to computer this semester. My GPA was 1 . The reason for such poor grade was that I began to know a lot of Nepalese friends in the university and I started drinking more and leave classes for nothing just to sleep more in the morning. I was being so careless and hawa about my study.
So in third semester I move to Dallas Texas. I had to move over there coz I didn’t have money at this time and I had bought new car at the same time. I owe college $2000. So I started to work in Gas station. And I join community college in Dallas. This time also I took 12 cr hours. Courses are: Intro to computer, US history, Intro to humanities and intro to business. This semester my grade was 0.75.
After this semester I was so depressed about my studies. Coz in Nepal I was really good student from my school time till to +2 college. In +2 I topped my whole college and I was disciplined student too.
Now my college warned me that this was my last time to enroll 12 credit hours if I don’t pass on my all subjects. Otherwise I would be in suspension. So I enrolled in 12 credits again. The courses are: English1, intro to principle of mgmt, intro to speech, Study skill (subject especially for provisional student). This semester my GPA was 0. The reason for getting such worst grade was I stopped going college when one of the professor made discrimination for me and one of my other nepali friend in Speech class. For our final project she made groups where my group was only me and other Nepali friend where other groups were 4 each all white and blacks mixed. So I stopped going to college after that while my other subjects were still at good grades till that time.
Now I am at suspension and I am trying for reinstate my status. The sad thing is that my family doesn’t know about this situation. And I don’t have that strong heart to tell them the truth. Actually now I know the value of education and I have determined to complete my education for US anyhow.
That was my story. So I need help from Nepalese friends to find the particular reason that why my grade was poor n I failed to be in F1 status. If u guys can than please write reinstatement letter for me or help me from any ways.
