If investors believed that this stock will skyrocket, then they will put their money. The thing is that no one knows. That's why these stocks are dirt cheap. Don't give me the 'they are too big to fail' argument. Read up on history and on Japan's Lost Decade.
And what is happening with stocks like Citi? It's called pump and dump. Traders will put in money seeing stupid folks like you jump in for no reason and once they think its overvalued, they will dump the stocks.
