Dev Gurung warns of revolt
Kantipur Report
Addressing a meeting in Nepalgunj on Monday, Gurung said the expansionists were trying to thwart the movement by manipulating the National Army and the judiciary.
If the situation demands and the expansionist forces continue to move ahead with their 'grand design', the movement will change its mode, Gurung warned. He also accused the expansionists of stoking up the stir launched by various ethnic groups and Tarai-based parties.
According to Gurung, coalition partner CPN-UML is also working for the expansionist forces. Pointing at the March 26 murder of UML-affiliated Youth Force cadre Prachanda Thaiba in Butwal, the minister said the UML was blowing the Butwal incident out of proportion in the interest of the expansionists' grand design.
