"Who the hell are u? What is your problem? None of your business? It is a free world" mentality is the quintessential definition of Nepali's version of FREEDOM. Ask any son/daughter of a political leader about their mansions, lands and cars, you'll get the same answer. Seriously, who the hell I am? It's none of my business.
As per your saying "some wants to make money off", this is none of your business to question them. What makes the leader's case different from this one? If you don't hesitate to blame these leaders for destryoing the country, what makes these gals as NOT destroying our image around the world? What ticks in your mind when anybody says "I'm going to Thailand"? Why do you think prostitution is illegal in US, as most Sajha basi are in the US. Why should US government be against your so called "free world" concept?, may be you should ask the congress to pass the law. After all US foster FREEDOM (am I right?), you should have no problem if you approach your local senator to fund the bill.
It seems Nepali people have achieved the "enlightenment" to answer everything and anything in perspective with a simple question-Tero Bauko ke matlab? aka "What is your problem?"
Personally it does not bother me, as per your belief "None of your business". But someday at a friend's gathering while I'm trying to glorify my mother land among all the foreigners, an Aussie comes to me and says " I've booned bunch of cheap Nepali hooker back home. They are plenty of Nepali slut out there". I would not be too proud with that.
But then again you'll say "This has nothing to do with our country pride". By your logic, I should take the Aussie's word and be proud instead.
If the news is true, the government did the right thing. So when exactly do you want the government to intervene? Wait till they get AIDS? You'll be then again pointing fingers at the same government if they die, blaming them for not doing this, not doing that....
My 2 cents.
