Lots of BS although I do agree with the general idea that the banking system is in serious need of  a overhaul..
- not a private organization but a quasi-govt..
- does not operate for profit (all the profit goes to U.S. treasury at the end of the year)
- does not operate outside the control of congress as congress can change the authority of the Fed
