Before I answer the thread, let me tell you a story.

There were identical twin brothers. They grew up together and later went out in the world on their own. One day both returned to their village. One had prospered and the other one had come back empty handed. Each of the villages girl only wanted to marry the prosperous brother but not his counterpart.

Having said that Nepal, during the English colonization frenzy, did not prove to be a strategic point of interest for the shrewd British ever cost-benefit-analyzing psyche.

Having said that the English did not even bother to colonize Nepal and thus was never colonized.
