sathi, i am not advocating for Prachanda; he might be good in some people's eyes and bad in some other peoples's eyes. he might be responsible for some of the mess ups you mentioned above along with other politicians such as Girija or Makune with some most responsible for some issues such as lack of electricity or drinking water and some others most in some other isssues. in the past, all those leaders from all political parties - Girija, Makune, Prachanda, Gyanendra, all...., threw false assurances among common Nepalis. so Prachanda is not the only one; he was just the one doing so lately.

then skilled and educated people have also responsibility to guide these corrupt and crook politicians in making conducing environment for investment, work, etc etc within the country (unfortunately, academic and skilled people are attached to one or other political parties and helping the politicians in further messing up the country) and people to stand for their rights adn to stand up against strikes, etc. again, if we don't do anything, situations would be further deteriorated in our country. so whoever appeals skilled manpower to stay and apply their skills in Nepal does not matter, there will be never an ideal situation for us to go back and work and invest our skills or money, we must act now by ourselves. I don't see Prachanda's appeal a breaking of tradition, such appeals used to come from other crooks as well in the past.
