I am surprised to see people being shocked over the video. I thought most people knew about Aghoris and their cannibalistic practices. 
Anyways, though I do not agree with the methods of these sadhus, I do hope people understand that there is a philosophical  reasoning behind eating human meat. Aghoris claim to live life in the simplest form, one that will lead them to mokshya and in order to do that, they give up physical pleasure in all forms. For them, nothing is beautiful or ugly, nothing is good or evil, and nothing is a sin.  To prove their point, they resort to committing the most despicable of all acts--eating human flesh.


Aghoris believe that human feces  is no different from pure water and some eat feces as a part of ritual. It seems like they understood long time ago what Einstein said: that all matter is just a form of energy.
