no one is saying that bhattas should be allowed to loot. But it is hard for me to believe that Bhattas have opposed any government regulation. They are not that powerful. Let's make rule about making temple money transparent, and see if Bhattas are still going to oppose. In that case, it is okey to accept the resignation, and in consultation with religious leaders--devighat ko pithadhis, shankaracharya of four dham etc--we will find another extremely talented man who will be the best man for the job. We want the most talented man , he whom we all can be proud of, for the job.
