The Maoists are deviating, and deviating big time. I have always given them credit for social restructuring. I still think the rigid social structures in the rural areas took serious blows from Maoists. I support that. Maoists stood for change. I liked that. However, I was and I am disgusted with their devotion to violence. We have clearly seen how terrible UML and NC are. They never fail to prove otherwise. I don't know when they are going to learn how to lead the nation to prosperity. MJF, TMDP are busy cashing in peoples' sentiment.

Maoists, especially Prachanda group, appears to be power hungry. When you say naya satta is no better than purano satta, I think I can agree with you. It certainly appears so. Maoists are spending peoples' trust faster than they can replenish. With this pace, they soon will be bankrupt. Once they go belly up, new revolution will surface with a different name, more violence is certain, more attack on whatever infrastructrues we have is inevitable. We will enter the same loop of political chaos again. I hope Maoists, especially the leaders, realize this now.

I was not a big fan of Kings. I am not sorry for Gyanendra. He had two strong body guards (Deuba congress and UML) protecting him. He gambled. Don't know why he kicked the body guards out when he knew he was vulnerable. I thank him, however, for leaving the Gaddi quietly for whatever reason(s) he may have. When I talk about the kings, I want to express my respect to the leaders like Prithwi Narayan, or Bahadur Shah. They were far better than Prachanda or Baburam or Badal. King PN Shah was not having fun in the palace and ordering others to go out there and fight. He was right there in the battle field risking his life. We could not preserve what Bahadur Shah added for us. I am not saying PN Shah or Bahadur Shah were the only heros. Every one who fought with them for Nepal deserve standing ovation from all of us - Nepalis. If we care to be baise chaubise again, then heck with PN Shah, Bahadur Shah and those brave fighters who unified us.
