Keep Track of Your Girlfriend's/Boyfriend's WhereaboutsWith the GPS/GSM enabled Mambo personal tracker |
|
Even if yesterday the whole world has celebrated Valentine's Day (which has become more of a Valentine's Pay Day, if you ask me), there are still quite a lot of people out there who don't really trust their partners or spouses and would like to keep better track of what they're doing and where they are going. And a very good device that enables them to do so is the Mambo personal tracker from Falcom, which combines the powers of GPS and GSM in order to provide a very interesting and useful surveillance tool. Of course, the aforementioned use is not exactly what this device has been designed Here is a list of the some of the most important features and specifications the Mambo from Falcom has to offer: - dimensions: 86 mm x 60 mm x 28 mm; - weight: 90 grams; - battery: 2 rechargeable Li-Ion batteries 1700/850 mA/h; - memory: 2 Mb Flash, 512 kByte SRAM; - supported communication technologies: GSM, CSD, GPRS, Bluetooth; - speech codec modes: half rate, full rate, enhanced full rate, adaptive multi rate; - includes: a 20 channel GPS receiver; - supports: Bluetooth Class 1.1 and 2.0; - features and internal loudspeaker, internal microphone and external audio interface. This device has just been announced, so there's no word on the pricing yet, but I'm pretty sure that this thing will prove to be quite successful, especially among the over-paranoid and controlling users out there. span style="color:darkred">We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is . | |
