Universal Rules

1. When you expect somebody to do something for you and your expectations are not met, you get hurt. For example, you expect your brother to buy a dress and he forgot to buy you a dress, you feel bad.

2. When you try to accelerate a body of mass (m) to the speed of light, the mass of the body approaches infinity, thats why you can't reach a speed of light. Source: Einstein Theory of Relativity. Put this into love relationship. When you start to have extreme feelings for somebody, it becomes harder for you to approach that person, no matter how confident you are. You just become too sensitive that you might hurt him/her. Same as you are trying to get the speed of light and your mass is approaching infinity. At the same time your expectations increase. It is because you feel that you love him/her very much and in return you feel that he/she should do something for you. Obviously, such expectations are not met and you get hurt.

Solution: If you love somebody, don't raise your expectation. True love is unconditional. If you are expecting from your significant other, be prepared to get hurt.
