Folks, I started to feel that a bunch of Sajha-fellas enjoys much in Nepe-bashing than anything else. It is nice to see when a discussion focuses on issues as well as bashing ones' view tailored to hide terrorist atrocities with suger-coated wordings but sometime it goes little beyond the limit. It would be much better to present the other side of the coin that Nepe is referring as the positive aspect showing some of the statistics.

I think, the point raised by Bubblegum is genuine. We need to re-analyse the figures considering the market inflation, currency devaluation, changed datum of living standards etc. before getting into the conclusion.

The remittance is good only for a short period of time. It is never good in the long run because it prevents investment in infrastructure building in the country. That is real loss for us. We need to re-evaluate the loss as well. 

Nepe says: आज मलाई महसुस भईरहेको छ, म त अन्धो रहेछु, मेरो प्रार्थना त उहिले पुरा भईसकेको रहेछ – हामीले धैर्यवान र परिपक्व नेपाली जनतालाई नै योग्य नेताको रुपमा पाईसकेको रहेछौं । मलाई पुरा विश्वास छ, यिनकै कुशल नेतृत्व र पहरेदारीमा नेपाल प्रगतिपथमा अघि बढ्नेछ, बढिरहनेछ ।

This is just a little twist to make him comfortable in building arguments in the coming days. What would we say if Prachanda come to say one day showing such kind of statistics --

आज मलाई महसुस भईरहेको छ, म त अन्धो रहेछु, मेरो प्रार्थना त उहिले पुरा भईसकेको रहेछ – हामीले पहिले नै गतिशिल र परिपक्व नेपाली समाज पाईसकेको रहेछौं । नेपाली समाज परीवर्तन गर्ने भन्दाभन्दै हामी आफै समाजको गतिसित मिल्न आइपुगिएको रहेछ । मलाई पुरा विश्वास छ, यिनकै कुशल पहल र पहरेदारीमा (मेरो नेतृत्त्वमा) नेपाल प्रगतिपथमा अघि बढ्नेछ, बढिरहनेछ ।

My anticipation is that, if there is no war and no bandhs in the country, our country will have fast economic development. No matter whoever runs the government. Because we are sure we will have increase in tourist inflow, increase in remmitance and increase in domestic consumption. The next benefit is the tying our currency with Indian currency. That means, if indian economy gets strong, it certainly benefits nepal, which is very likely to happen. Therefore, we will obviously see such a comfortable statistics but that does not necessarily mean that we have improved our economy. If our economy improves at the rate of India or China, then, there is something we should be happy, otherwise, we must accept that we are falling down.
